Ecuador & Galapagos Islands

South America

Varied adventure you will never forget

Ecuador is a beautiful journey through beautiful nature. Ecuador is a playground for adventure travel, partly because of its great ecological diversity. Nowhere else in the world can you climb a glacial-peaked mountain one day, hike through a cloud forest the next, and join any number of whitewater rivers in the Amazon basin. You travel along beautiful rolling green Andean hills and you travel further through the exuberant jungle of the Amazon region. You can take fantastic walks along crater lakes or climb the active Cotopaxi volcano.

The capital Quito is a city on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is considered the cultural capital of South America and the second most important city of the ancient Inca Empire. In this colonial city you can get acquainted with the locals, visit the mysterious Inca ruins and walk around colorful markets in Otavalo. Here there is a good chance that you will encounter some of the beautifully dressed indigenas, a very colorful picture. You can also enjoy swimming in the clear blue sea or in the hot springs in the town of Baños.

The trip to Ecuador is not complete without a visit to the Galapagos Islands, also called “Las Islas Encantandos”, or the enchanting islands. These Galapagos Islands are one of the most popular sights in Ecuador. Here you can spot seals and other animal species in their natural environment.

In short, Ecuador and the Galapagos represent a trip full of varied adventure and one you will never forget!
